Procurement Manager
Part-time - Term Time only

What is the Role?

Reporting to the Director of People & Finance you will be responsible for partnering with School Staff and leaders to enhance procurement of goods and services, ensuring financial and non-financial value for SACS.  This is a 0.6 FTE Term-time only role.

 

KEY Accountabilities 

  • Supplier Management
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Support
  • Cost Savings and improving efficiency
  • Operational Tasks

 

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure procurement projects and sourcing strategies are implemented within specified guidelines and timelines.

  • Provide procurement support and guidance for stakeholders.

  • Prepare monthly reports, including spend reports & savings reports.

  • Help improve contract management and third-party engagement processes

Essential skills 

  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent phone skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Negotiation and influencing

Experience in a school context would be desirable.
