Music Teacher - Junior School
Start 2026 - 0.4 FTE

What is the Role?

We are looking for a passionate classroom Music teacher to join our dynamic K-6 Music team in 2026.

 

Who will the successful applicant be?

  • Displays dedication and enthusiasm for teaching classroom Music, with a heart for encouraging and inspiring students of all abilities
  • Has recent experience and proven success teaching Junior School Music
  • Committed to delivering a high-quality Music curriculum from an aural vocal approach
  • Experience in leading music ensembles
  • Committed to ongoing professional learning in Music education, including training in Kodaly and/or Orff approaches
  • Possesses strong classroom management skills
  • Demonstrates outstanding musicianship skills, including advanced practical skills in one or more instruments
  • Thrives working collaboratively in a high-functioning team
  • Confident in the use of technology
  • An understanding of and commitment to the School’s Christian mission, values and ethos
