About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Community Engagement Assistant to provide essential administrative, data, and event support to our team . This is a permanent, part-time position at 0.4 FTE, working two days per week (days and hours to be agreed) .

Key Accountabilities

• Provide support for community events, including administrative and logistical preparation of event lists, name tags, and supporting materials 
• Assist with fundraising administration, including receipting for campaigns and sponsorships .
• Update and maintain records within the community and fundraising database, ensuring data integrity .
• Prepare documents to support planning, coordination, and reporting .
• Assist with volunteer programme administration and ensuring volunteer checks are verified in coordination with the People & Culture team .

Essential Skills & Experience

• Current and valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required at all times (pp. 1-2).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy .
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with spreadsheets .
• Demonstrated ability to complete administrative and clerical tasks reliably and within required timeframes .
• A professional and discreet approach to handling confidential information .
