Junior and Gawura School Chaplain - start 2026
Commencing Term 1 2026 - Part-time or Full-time (negotiable)

 

What is the Role?

The School has an exemplary Chaplaincy program and is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Christian educator to join our team of committed and professional staff.   

 

Who will the successful applicant be?

  • An authentic Christian life, lived with integrity
  • Theological training at Diploma level or above
  • Experience at working with young people, preferably in a school setting and ideally through teacher training and experience
  • Ability to teach, lead, engage, communicate and connect the Gospel of Jesus with students K-6
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others in design and implementation of Chapel programs and Christian Development classroom curriculum.
  • Capacity to deal with issues of apologetics related to blockers of faith, commonly expressed by adolescents
  • Ability to review Christian Development and oversee Christian integration across K-6
  • Willingness to work beyond school hours, including co-curricular
